Psychological Counseling Center aims to :-

1- Prepare the necessary means, standards and programs for the psychological and educational counseling process.

2- Implement micro-teaching programs for the purpose of developing individuals’ abilities in psychological and educational guidance and counseling for each of the psychological counselor, psychologist, teacher and social therapist.

3- Prepare appropriate psychological and educational guidance and counseling programs for education levels and fields of psychological and educational guidance and counseling on scientific bases.

4- Provide psychological and educational guidance and counseling services in its various fields, therapeutic, marital, professional, administrative and academic counseling, and human development programs, whether for ordinary people or people with special needs for different age groups.

5- Provide psychological, educational and social counseling to all community members.

6- Provide communication services through the center's communication unit.

7- Provide intelligence measurement services to all community members through the center's intelligence measurement unit.

8- Organize training programs and courses in various fields of psychological and educational counseling for individuals inside and outside the university.

9- Prepare and publish psychological tests and measures of practical importance.

10- Organize scientific symposium and conferences in the field of psychological counseling.

11- Issue a scientific journal specialized in the field of psychological guidance and counseling.
