Higher Education: Applications are now open for the fourth call for applications for the " Applied Sciences & Innovation Research Excellence " (ASPIRE Egypt) program, with funding of up to EGP 8 million for the project from the Science, Technology and Innovation Funding Authority which supports the transformation of scientific research findings into solutions and innovations with societal and industrial impact.

Whereas Dr. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, affirmed that the Ministry pays great attention to supporting applied and innovative research that contributes to transforming the outputs of scientific research into products and applications that serve society and the national economy, noting that this approach comes in implementation of the state’s strategy to maximize the benefit from knowledge and innovation in supporting development plans and achieving Egypt’s 2030 vision for sustainable development.

The deadline for submitting research proposals is December 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM.
