Training Committee of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit held yesterday a workshop entitled “International Publishing: Steps and Mechanisms” for academic staff, teaching assistants, and researchers.

The workshop introduced the concept of international educational publishing and its practical requirements, raised awareness of the publishing process in reputable international journals, clarified the relationship between international publishing, institutional performance quality, and university ranking, and presented a practical roadmap for beginning to publish in Web of Science and Scopus, fostering a research culture more open to international standards.

This came in line with the directives of President of the University Professor Dr. Essam El-Din Sadek Farhat, regarding the importance of international scientific publishing.

The meeting was attended by Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research Professor Dr. Hossam El-Din Shawky Abdullah, Dean of the Faculty Professor Dr. Idris Sultan Saleh, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Professor Dr. Asmaa Abdel Hamid Mohamed, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies Professor Dr. Hossam Mahmoud Zaki, and the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit, represented by Dr. Wael Adel Abdel Hakam and Dr. Mohamed Fathy Abdel Rahman, as well as members of the Scientific Research Standard and its implementation team, including Professor Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel Hafez.
